Abstract
El presente artículo trata de analizar el movimiento cantonal en la localidad de Camuñas (Toledo) a través de las actuaciones realizadas por el comité federal nombrado con la llegada del Sexenio Democrático a dicha localidad. Se establecen también sus relaciones con el desarrollo del incipiente obrero español a través de la I Internacional y las primeras manifestaciones regionalistas de la Mancha Alta dentro de la república federal, demostrando las conexiones existentes entre dicho movimiento obrero cantonal, el concepto federal del Estado español y el intento de cambio social.
This article tries to analyze the cantonal movement in the town of Camuñas (Toledo) through the actions conductedby the federal committee appointed with the arrival of the Six-Year Democratic Party in that town. Its relations with the development of the incipientSpanish worker through the I International and first regionalist manifestations of the Mancha Alta within the federal republic are also established, demonstrating the existing connections between said cantonal worker movement, the federal concept of the Spanish state and the attempt of social change.
