Description
Abstract
Digital discourse is a methodological challenge for dis course analysis. There are many aspects in the access to sample of languages which implicate difficulties for further analysis. The private nature of digital interactions causes that the analyst must design complex protocols for the collection of data. The article discusses the technique of 2 participant observer for the study of groups of WhatsApp. A review of the theoretical forms of data collection used in the previous literature is done, and based on that, we describe the protocol implemented in a researc h framed in CoDiCE.The results are evidence of the viability of this technique to make private interaction studies
