dc.description.abstractIl presente studio ha come obiettivo analizzare due opere letterarie che affrontano l’argomento della materntià da una posizione dissidente, fatto che permette di riarticolare i rapporti della donna con la maternità e con il proprio corpo. Per arrivare a tale scopo ci concentreremo sulle opere che trattano la maternità da una prospettiva matrifocale e che puntano ad un cambiamento di paradigma nei modelli femminili e materni che la letteratura offre. Per svolgere la nostra ricerca abbiamo scelto due opere pubblicate in Italia e in Spagna per due motivi: 1) dall’inizio del nuovo secolo si è constatato un aumento dei romanzi che trattano l’argomento della maternità dal punto di vista della madre ed in maniera soggettiva; 2) le opere danno visibilità ad argomenti taciuti dalla letteratura, e dalla società in generale, come l’infertilità e le difficoltà che sperimentano le donne quando non possono diventare madri. Questi sono gli argomenti delle due opere oggetto di studio: El cielo oblicuo (2015) di Belén García Abia, e L’isola delle madri (2020), di Maria Rosa Cutrufelli.es
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze two literary works that deal with the topic of motherhood from a dissident position, a fact that allows the re-articulation of woman's relationship with motherhood and with her own body. To achieve this goal, we will focus on works that concern motherhood from a matrifocal perspective and that point to a paradigm shift in the female and maternal models that literature offers. To carry out our research we chose two works published in Italy and Spain for two reasons: 1) since the beginning of the new century there has been an increase in novels that deal with the subject of motherhood from the point of view of the mother and her subjectivity; 2) the works give visibility to topics silenced by literature, and by society in general, such as infertility and the difficulties women experience when they cannot become mothers. These are the topics of the two works under study: El cielo oblicuo (2015) by Belén García Abia, and L'isola delle madri (2020), by Maria Rosa Cutrufelli.es
