Abstract
Resumen: En este texto pondré en discusión la línea de investigación interdisciplinaria conocida como Estudios Culturales (Cultural Studies), especialmente me interesa realizar un „análisis cultural‟ de este tipo de estudios para mostrar la génesis, los fundamentos y algunos de los posibles riesgos en los que puede incurrir este tipo de análisis. La estrategia de argumentación que empleo es la siguiente. En primer lugar señalo en qué medida los estudios culturales son producto del horizonte comprensivo de la cultura pop del siglo XX. Por último, intento precisar los límites y alcances del análisis cultural en el tratamiento de determinados productos y prácticas culturales.
Abstract: In this paper my interest is to make a „cultural analysis‟ of the denominated „Cultural Studies‟ to show the genesis, the foundations and some of the possible risks which this type of analysis can incur. The argumentation strategy that use is the following one. First I indicate to what extent the cultural studies are product of the comprehensive horizon of the pop culture of century XX. Finally, attempt to need the limits and reaches the cultural analysis in the treatment of certain products and cultural practices.
