Abstract
El Canal de Castilla se ha convertido en un recurso turístico para el territorio. Asociado a esta infraestructura hidráulica se encuentran elementos arquitectónicos que constituyen un atractivo para los visitantes. El mantenimiento de este patrimonio ha sido posible gracias a las intervenciones públicas que, además de permitir su conservación, han convertido al Canal de Castilla en un atractivo turístico. Con este trabajo se pretende poner en valor el patrimonio del Canal de Castilla como recurso turístico y analizar el papel de los programas de rehabili-tación y recuperación de este patrimonio.
The Castille Canal has become a tourist resource for the territory. Associated with this hydraulic infrastructure are architectural elements that attract visitors. This heritage has been maintained thanks to public interventions which, in addition to allowing its conservation, have turned the Castille Canal into an attraction for tourism and hikers. This article aims to highlight the Castille Canal’s heritage as a tourist resource and to analyse the role of the programmes launched to rehabilitate and recover this heritage
