El artículo se centra en la importancia de reflexionar sobre el desarrollo enfermero y analizar los
elementos que han influido en la evolución enfermera, haciendo un análisis crítico de la situación
actual de la profesión y diseñando unas estrategias de desarrollo profesional y disciplinar.
SUMMARY This article deals with the importance of reflecting about the nursing development and analyzing the elements that have influenced in nursing evolution. It makes a critical analysis of the present situation of the profession and it offers some strategies for the professional and discipline development.
