Abstract
Entre los aspectos más importantes que deben considerarse a
nivel gerencial en las empresas turísticas, son todas aquellas
habilidades directivas que un individuo posee para desarrollar
funciones de liderazgo y coordinación, las cuales influyen en la
ejecución de las distintas actividades, roles, funciones o tareas que
se desarrollan en una organización. Dentro de sus distintas
clasificaciones, se considera al tiempo como un criterio que
participa en la gestión del directivo, mas no es contemplado como
uno de los elementos que conforman este principio, el cual puede
intervenir de forma positiva o negativa en el cumplimiento de los
objetivos empresariales y el manejo de los recursos.
Este estudio, analizado desde la literatura, aporta con la
conclusión de que, la gestión del tiempo debe ser considerada como
una habilidad más y por lo tanto tiene una estrecha relación con
aquellas actividades de gestión que son importantes o urgentes.

This study analyzed from the literature, contributes to the conclusion that time management should be considered as a more skill and therefore has a close relationship with those management.
