dc.description.abstract	Este artículo recoge unas reflexiones de la autora sobre el tema del bilingüismo y sus consecuencias en el marco de la comunidad aut6noma gallega, donde se plantea, a su juicio, una situación muy problemática y singularizada, diferente a la de otras comunidades con dos lenguas, debido a circunstancias de tipo histórico que exigen medidas, no sólo de planificación educativa, sino de tipo social. El artículo parte, en primer lugar, de la definición del concepto “bilingüismo”, al que siguen unas consideraciones generales sobre la educación bilingüe. En segundo lugar, se ofrece una descripción de la situación gallega y, finalmente, se proponen modelos educativos, ya experimentados con éxito en otras comunidades bilingües, que sería interesante introducir en Galicia. La ausencia en la Ley de Normalización Lingüística de modelos bilingües, el complejo de inferioridad de los gallegos para con su lengua y el escaso apoyo institucional dispensado a la lengua gallega desde las instancias autonómicas dificultan su avance, mientras aumenta, a ritmo acelerado, el proceso de desgalleguización.	es
dc.description.abstract	In this paper her author makes a reflection about bilingualism and its consequences for the particular context of the autonomous community of Galicia. In this Context -she argues - there exists a very singular and embarrassing simation which is different to other speech communities with two languages. This is due to well known historical circumstances which actually demand the adoption of measures both in the field of educational and social planning. The paper establishes, in the first place, the notion of "bilingualism" and outlines different conceptions about bilingual education. In the second place, we are offered a description of the galician context and, thirdly, the author makes a proposal for the introduction in Galicia of those educational mcdels which have been successfully experimented in other bilingual communities. Finally, the paper takes into account the lack of bilingual models in the Linguistic Normalization Act, the inferiority complex the galician people feel about their language and the insufficient institutional support given to the galician language by the local authorities which, according to the author, makes its progress more difficult at the time that the process of lack of ordinary use of the language grows more and more.	es
