dc.description.abstractEn este artículo se relata una experiencia educativa en la Universidad de Cantabria, concretamente en la asignatura El centro escolar como comunidad educativa (2.º curso, Grado de Infantil). Las autoras del texto, estudiantes de la materia durante el curso 2016-17 enfocamos la asignatura, con la ayuda de nuestra profesora, hacia la discusión sobre el valor de lo público en la educación infantil. Aquí se relata nuestro paso por la asignatura a partir de sus principales hitos, tratando con ello de animar un debate más general sobre qué significa la educación pública hoy.es
dc.description.abstractThis article describes an educational experience at the University of Cantabria, specifically in the subject «the school as an educational community (2nd year, Early Childhood Education degree)”. With the help of our teacher, the authors, students of the subject during the 2016-17 academic year, approached the subject from the perspective of the discussion on the values of the public in early childhood education. In this article we describe our experience on the subject based on its main milestones, thereby attempting to encourage a more general debate on the correct meaning of state’s educationes
