dc.description.abstract	La presencia de Circe en la historia de la ópera ha sido una constante y los libretos ilustran a la perfección la dimensión poliédrica que la hija del Sol ha ido cosechando desde antiguo en su caracterización como mujer. Los libretistas del Barroco echan mano de la tradición y adaptan su identidad a los acontecimientos de la época. El siguiente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar el libreto de la ópera Circe de C. Ivanovich estableciendo paralelismos con las fuentes clásicas a fin de resaltar cómo el libretista retoma los episodios mitológicos en los que la maga actúa como protagonista para enmarcar la creación y recreación de este personaje tan singular.	es
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: The presence of Circe in the history of opera has been a constant, and the librettos perfectly illustrate the multifaceted dimension that the daughter of the Sun has acquired since ancient times in her characterization as a woman. Baroque librettists draw upon tradition and adapt her identity in light of the events of the time. This study aims to analyze the libretto of the opera Circe by C. Ivanovich, establishing parallels with classical sources in order to highlight how the librettist revisits mythological episodes in which the sorceress acts as the protagonist to frame the creation and recreation of this singular character.	en
