Description
Abstract
"Re-formulation of words in Spanish" is a playful metalinguistic investigation in which, from the analysis of a wide repertoire of terms of ordinary language, an alternative genetic explanation is proposed to that offered by the traditional linguistics. It is a question of conceiving the formation of words from different morphological presuppositions and, with the help of logical rules, show the surprising implications, mainly semantic and grammatical, that are derived. As a result of this exploration, words are interpreted in the light of a new theory of composition in which it is possible to analyze phenomena such as polysemy, homonymy or foreignisms, while constructing a glossary of terms that redefine the reality from a singular and original perspective.
