dc.description.abstractEn este artículo presentamos un modelo de investigación convergente que estamos desarrollando en el Area de Didáctica de las Matemáticas en la Universidad de La Laguna, considerando aspectos referidos al desarrollo del currículo en Matemáticas y a la investigación en Educación Matemática. Se detectan los conocimientos y creencias de cada uno de los componentes del sistema curricular y se Ileva a cabo la implantación de un cambio del currículo. Con respecto a la investigación se pretende superar posiciones extremas entre los aspectos cualitativos y cuantitativos de los distintos paradigmas, a la vez que se desarrollan métodos y técnicas de ambos, ŭtiles y complementarios (metodología convergente), que permitan entender mejor los procesos y resultados implicados en la investigación.es
dc.description.abstractln this paper, we present a model of convergent research that we carry out in the Area of Didactic of Mathematics of the University of La Laguna. It considers aspects referred to the development of the Mathematics Curriculum and research in Mathematical Education. We detect the knowledges and beliefs ofeach of the members of the curricular system and we implement a curriculum change. Regarding the research project we try to overside extreme positions between quantitative and qualitative aspects of the different paradigms and develop methods and techniques for both. There are very useful and complement each other (convergent methodology) and allow the better understanding of the processes and results implied in this research projectes
