Abstract
Realizamos una revisión, con nuevos argumentos, de un hallazgo numismático
producido en la ciudad de Algeciras en la primera década del siglo XXI, compuesto por tres
dinares de época taifa: dos ḥammūdíes con cronología coincidente de 424/1032 y ceca Madīnat
Sabta, y un tercero ʻabbādí, de 456/1063 y ceca al-Andalus. Estas piezas, de buena calidad, nos
permiten retomar la discusión en torno a la cuestión de los ocultamientos acontecidos en alAndalus a lo largo del siglo XI.
We conduct a review, with new arguments, on a numusmatic find which was produced in the city of Algeciras in the first decade of the 21st century. This find consisted of three dinars from taifa period; two hammūdi with a coincident chronology of 424/1032 and Madīnat Sabta mint, a third ʻabbādi from 546/1063, and al-Andalus mint. These pieces are in good condition, whith allows us to continue the discussion on the issue of the concealments that occurred in an-Andalus throughout the 11th century.
