Description
Abstract
Genomic imprinting is the parental-allelespecific
expression of genes. Beckwith-Wiedemann
syndrome (BWS), a congenital overgrowth syndrome
with increased risk of childhood tumors, is one of the
well-known diseases caused by imprinted genes. The
imprinted genes causing BWS are discussed in this
review.
