Abstract
En el presente trabajo exploraremos la
hipótesis de que el uso de sustancias psicodélicas
pueda ampliar nuestras facultades de representación y, por ende, nuestras facultades morales. De este modo, recogeremos el testigo que Günther
Anders nos tiende en La obsolescencia del hombre, cuando señala que “en la medida en que
queramos que no todo se eche a perder, la decisiva tarea actual consiste en la educación de la
fantasía moral.” Antes de plantear esta cuestión,
reflexionaremos sobre la idea andersiana que la
suscita, el desnivel prometeico, para examinar de
qué manera podría tener cabida nuestro planteamiento.
In this paper we explore the hypothesis of psychedelics widening our representational faculties and, hence, our moral faculties too. In this way, we will deal with the problem posed by Günther Anders on Die Antiquiertheit des Menschen in which he asserted that “inasmuch as we want everything not to go bad, the critical present task is the education of moral fantasy”. Before exposing this issue, we will reflect on the andersian idea that raises it, the promethean gap, in order to examine the adequacy of our approach.
