Description
Abstract
En 2021 se cumplían cien años de la
publicación de la novela Colasín del
escritor murciano José López Almagro; la
cual, pese a su admirable valor testimonial
y costumbrista, sigue siendo una gran
desconocida. Este artículo plantea su
desviación del regionalismo idealizado
propio de la literatura murciana de su época
y la abre a su relación con la literatura de
la Generación del 98, matizando algunas
afirmaciones que se han hecho sobre la
endeblez de su estructura narrativa.
In 2021 it was one hundred years since the publication of the novel Colasín by the Murcian writer José López Almagro; which, despite its admirable testimonial and costumbrist value, continues to be a great unknown. This article discusses his deviation from the idealized regionalism typical of the Murcian literature of his time and opens it to its relationship with the literature of the Generation of ‘98, clarifying some statements that have been made about the weakness of its narrative structure.
