Abstract
Our present society is becoming more and more diverse owing to the immigration and this can be noticed not only in the educational, familiar and social aspects, but also in the religious side. The wide range of beliefs makes the authorities take actions in order to manage the diversity that the situation carries, which also concerns the territorial impact that the exercise of the right of the religious liberty entails, since in many cases it is necessary to provide physical locations such as churches, synagogues, mosques or temples to express the individual or collective religiousness. The great change that has been produced in this matter for the last decades has shown the necessity of providing the proper resources for the urban distribution of these buildings, which enables the exercise of the right of the religious freedom of the believers.
