Abstract
A fi nales de septiembre de 2015 se inauguró en el Museo Arqueológico de Cehegín, la
exposición “Begastri. Un antes y un después”, en ella se pretendía ofrecer un recorrido sobre
los recientes y no tan recientes descubrimientos y trabajos arqueológicos llevados a cabo en la
ciudad tardorromana de Begastri (Cehegín, Murcia). Además entre diciembre de ese mismo año
y hasta abril del año siguiente (2016) se pudo visitar esa misma exposición, aunque con matices,
en el Museo Arqueológico de Murcia (MAM). En este artículo vamos a desgranar técnicamente
esta exposición, sin perder de vista, la situación de crisis actual, pues ésta infl uye en los recursos
económicos que se destinan para este tipo de actividades culturales, y el papel de divulgación
que actualmente tienen las exposiciones y los museos.
In September 2015, the exhibition “Begastri. Un antes y un despúes” opened in the Cehegín Archaeological Museum. In addition, between December of that same year and until April of the following year (2016), the same exhibition could be visited, at the Archaeological Museum of Murcia (MAM). We are going to technically break down this exhibition, without losing sight of the current crisis situation, which infl uences the economic resources that are allocated for this type of cultural activities and the dissemination role that exhibitions and museums currently have.
