El presente artículo gira en torno dos ideas medulares del pensamiento de Gianni Vattimo.
La primera de ellas es la libertad que ha concentrado también el interés práctico más caro
a nuestro filósofo durante toda su vida. Creemos que revisar esta idea inef
able es
importante por sus implicaciones prácticas en relación con la posibilidad del
acontecimiento en el mundo actual de la “neutralización”. La segunda idea que
discutiremos
–
la cual fue cobrando cada vez mayor gravitación en el pensamiento de
nuestro
autor después de la publicación de
Creer que se Cree
, es la Caridad. En este
caso nos interesa explorar la posibilidad de una fundamentación posmetafísica de la
Caridad en diálogo con la lógica del don de Derrida, para mostrar que también la
Caritas
defini
da del modo en que Vattimo lo hace en su filosofía, puede llegar a superar la crítica
derridiana a la idea de la fraternidad centrada en la identidad del Yo.
This article revolves around two fundamental ideas of Gianni Vattimo’s thinking. The first one is the idea of freedom, which has also gathered our philosopher’s dearest practical interest throughout his life. We believe that revisiting such ineffable idea is important due to the prac tical implications related to the possibility of the event in today’s “neutralization” world. The second idea which we will deal with and which has become more and more appealing in our writer’s thinking after publishing Belief , is that of Charity. In this case, we are interested in exploring the possibility that there is a post - metaphysical basis for Charity in dialog with the logics of Derrida’s gift, in order to show as well that the Caritas defined the way Vattimo does in his philosophy manages to overc ome Derrida’s criticism to the idea of fraternity which centers around the identity of the self.
