Abstract
Este artículo destaca algunos de los problemas, prácticas
y preguntas clave con que me he enfrentado durante el
tiempo que he estado involucrado en la investigación
en educación inclusiva. Se ofrece una panorámica de
mis intereses de investigación a lo largo de mi andadura
profesional. Las preocupaciones de mi investigación pueden
ser entendidas atendiendo a diferentes fases que a su
vez están conectadas entre sí y también en relación a los
compañeros investigadores con los que he trabajado a
lo largo del tiempo. Se concluye que la investigación va
mucho más allá de los problemas técnicos y metodológicos,
y se nos invita a reconocer los peligros de la complacencia y
de la superficialidad con respeto a nuestra investigación.
This paper outlines some of the key issues, practices and questions that I have had to engage with in my research in inclusive education. It provides an overview of some of my research interests throughout my academic career. My research concerns can be understood in terms of different but interconnected phases and also in relation to specific colleagues I have worked with at different points in my career. It is concluded that research goes beyond technical and methodological issues and an invitation is made to recognise the dangers of complacency and of superficiality with regard to our own research.
