dc.description.abstractUna de las temáticas que más ocupan y preocupan en la actualidad, es el aumento de posiciones polarizadas, y cada vez más radicales, en la ciudadanía. Actitudes que pueden estar relacionadas con diferentes variables, y quizás una de las más interesantes de analizar es si existe o no, una vinculación entre los sentimientos religiosos y los modos de adhesión o rechazo a las diferentes organizaciones políticas, según sean más o menos próximas a las propias creencias. Para profundizar en este tema se han utilizado los datos obtenidos en la encuesta nacional realizada por el grupo de investigación CEMOP1, a la población española de ambos sexos de 18 años en adelante, seleccionada a través de un muestreo polietápico estratificado. La conclusión final es que sí que hay una polarización afectiva y emocional vinculada a la existencia o no, de creencias religiosas, y que es el colectivo de católicos y católicas practicantes el segmento que está emocionalmente más motivado, y por lo tanto el que manifiesta un mayor grado de polarización.es
dc.description.abstractOne of the issues of most concern and preoccupation at present is the increase in polarised and increasingly radical positions among citizens. Attitudes that may be re-lated to different variables, and perhaps one of the most interesting to analyse is whether or not there is a link between religious feelings and the ways of adhering to or rejecting different political organisations, depending on whether they are more or less close to one's own beliefs. In order to examine this issue in greater depth, we have used the data obtained in the national survey carried out by the CEMOP research group on the Spanish population of both sexes aged 18 and over, selected by means of stratified multistage sampling. The final conclusion is that there is indeed an affective and emotional polarisation linked to the existence or not of religious beliefs, and that it is the group of practising Catholics who are the most emotionally motivated segment, and therefore the one that shows the greatest degree of polarisation.es
