Abstract
Tras la descripción histórica del Campo de Cartagena, se centra en el estudio histórico de la geografía del mismo que comenta con particular atención a la imagen que cada núcleo de población ofrecía antes del trasvase. Se subrayan las modificaciones posteriores como elemento de comparación.
After the historic description of the Cartagena Field, the author studies the poli-tical geography of the same. He atends very carefully each image of the villages before the construction of the waterway from the river Tajo to the river Segura in the sixties. The later modifi cations are emphasized.
