Abstract
En el presente trabajo se analizan las cuatro églogas escritas por el poeta Juan
Arolas (1805-1849) y se destacan los puntos de contacto con la tradición del
género bucólico, representado fundamentalmente por Virgilio, y con la poesía
de otros poetas latinos como Tibulo, Horacio y Ovidio.
This paper analyzes the four eclogues written by the poet Juan Arolas (1805- 1849) and notes the points of contact with the pastoral genre tradition, represented mainly by Vergil, and the poetry of other Latin poets like Tibullus, Horace and Ovid.
