Abstract
En este artículo se realiza una revisión de las perspectivas minimalista y maximalista sobre la
noción de crítica en análisis del discurso, a fin de proponer que este campo académico es
constitutivamente crítico y, al mismo tiempo, considerar que la dimensión crítica despliega
acentuaciones diversas, no se deriva únicamente del marxismo y no puede ser un dominio
exclusivo del análisis crítico del discurso.
In this article, a review of the minimalist and maximalist perspectives on the notion of criticism in discourse analysis was carried out, with the purpose of proposing that this academic field is constitutively critical and, at the same time, considering that the critical dimension displays various accents, therefore, it is not derived solely from Marxism and cannot be the exclusive domain of critical discourse analysis.
