dc.description.abstract	This paper focuses on the study of artisan labour migrations between the 18th and 19th centuries, taking ad simples the silversmiths’ guilds of the southeast of the peninsula. Thus, it provides a different view, ascribed to more limited labour markets, compared to the work published to date interested in others with a greater capacity to attract labour. Following the approaches of the social history of the population, in accordance with the documentary possibilities offered fundamentally by population counts and notarial deeds, we examine migratory movements according to the distance travelled: short-medium, where we group together those existing in the nearby geographical environment or other Hispanic regions of the Iberian Peninsula, and long distance, ascribed solely to the foreign contribution. The objective, in addition to weighing up the migrant contribution to the reproduction of the trade and identifying the places of origin, is to advance on the qualitative importance and the trajectories of emigrant craftsmen, outlining a diverse and complex reality.
dc.description.abstract	El artículo se centra en el estudio de las migraciones laborales artesanas entre los siglos XVIII y XIX, tomando como muestras los Colegio-Congregación de plateros del sureste peninsular. Así, se aporta una visión diferente, adscrita a mercados laborales más limitados, frente a los trabajos publicados hasta la fecha interesados en otros con mayor capacidad de atracción de mano de obra. Siguiendo planteamientos de la historia social de la población, a tenor de las posibilidades documentales ofrecidas fundamentalmente por recuentos poblacionales y escrituras notariales, se examinan los movimientos migratorios en función de la distancia recorrida: corta-media, donde se agrupa la existente en el entorno geográfico cercano u otras regiones hispánicas peninsulares, y larga distancia, adscrita únicamente al aporte extranjero. El objetivo, además de ponderar el aporte migrante en la reproducción del oficio e identificar los lugares de procedencia, avanza sobre la importancia cualitativa y las trayectorias de los emigrantes artesanos, dibujando una realidad diversa y compleja.
