Abstract
Tras haber estudiado en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad
de Murcia y realizado una tesis sobre Pío Baroja, fue con su sobrino, Julio Caro
Baroja, con el que adquirió la necesaria formación para realizar trabajos de campo.
Por otra parte, la relación familiar con el mundo del arte permitió al profesor Flores
Arroyuelo tratar asuntos estilísticos o artísticos. Es por ello que asumiremos su
obra desde varios puntos de vista: literario, etnográfico y artístico, y de esta forma
nos centraremos en el particular mundo en la recogida de materiales folklóricos y
etnográficos
After havig studied in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Murcia and having done a thesis about Pío baroja, it was with his nephew, Julio Caro baroja, that he acquired the necessary knowledge to do etnographics works. on the other hand, his relationship with the world of art let professor Flores Arro-yuelo deal with stilistic and artistic matters. it is in this way in which we are going to look at this work from different points of view: literary, etnographic and artistic, and for this reason we are going to concentrate on his particular way of saving the traditional or etnographic inheritance.
