dc.description.abstractEl presente texto se adentra en la construcción de subjetividades no heteronormativas en los productos culturales televisivos tomando como referencia la serie Sense8 (Netflix, 2015-), una producción de las hermanas Wachowski y Joseph Michael Straczynski. Así, desde los Estudios Culturales y de Género, y haciendo uso del análisis de contenido cualitativo, se estudia la representación de los protagonistas del colectivo LGTBI a través de la teoría de la interseccionalidad. Un enfoque que permite estudiar las identidades de forma entrecruzada atendiendo a diferentes ejes de dominación y prestando especial atención a las relaciones de poder. En líneas generales, se puede afirmar que este serial rompe con las normatividades impuestas por el sistema sexo-género al introducir unos personajes complejos desde realidades alternativas representándolos con gran capacidad de agencia y, con ello, de empoderamientoes
dc.description.abstractThis present research focuses on the creation of non- heteronormative subjectivities construction in television products, specifically in Sense8 (Netflix, 2015), a TV series created by the Wachowski sisters and Joseph Michael Straczynski. Thus, from the point of view of Cultural and Gender Studies, using the qualitative content analysis techniques and the intersectional theory, it studies the media representation of the LGTI characters. In this sense, the intersectional theory allows to teasing out the intersecting identities according to several exclusion and discrimination axes and the power relationships. Generally, Sense8 breaks away the sex/gender system because it introduces both elaborate characters and non-normative realities. All of this helps to show agency and empowerment in this cultural producten
