Description
Abstract
This paper develops critically the Xavier Zubiri̓s ontology, proposing the following classification of the substantivities (or wholes) that articulate the reality: elemental particles, microphysical combination, chemical combination, and functional combination. Also some difficulties in the classification are pointed out, related to the «abstract parts», to the human being as a peculiar substantivity, and to the «sinn-thing».
