Abstract
En este artículo intentaremos abordar un análisis de la Prefect ura del Pretorio incurriendo en los aspectos relacionados con el cargo. Es decir, en este es tudio no se encontrará un análisis diacrónico de los distintos Prefectos del Pretorio que han pasa do a lo largo de la Historia de Roma, sino más bien, un análisis de las distintas facultades qu e tuvo este cargo incidiendo sobre todo, en los períodos que creemos que fueron claves (siglo II-I II y IV d.C.).
In this article we try to analyze the Praetorian Prefecture asp ects infl uencing the post. That is, in this study we do not fi nd a diachronic analysis of different Praetorian Prefects whic h have existed in the history of Rome. In fact is, an analysis of the different faculties of this charge, focusing mostly in the periods we have considered that are key (II-III and IV A.D.).
