Description
Abstract
Tourism requires new perspectives to understand its behaviour and to face the future in times of change, especially in small-scale scenarios. The aim of this article is to describe the properties of a socio-ecological system and its representation in a resilient community with a vocation for tourism. The findings determined that community and community tourism are ideal examples of socio-ecological systems, which are based on four key elements and resilience an analytical tool of their behavior. The methodology was retrospective and topical. The method of analysissynthesis and the use of mathematical language were used to interpret and represent the theoretical-conceptual postulates of this study.
