Abstract
Este artículo tiene tres partes diferenciadas. La primera parte
realiza un balance de los logros y las cuestiones pendientes
de la lucha contra la discriminación desde una perspectiva
de género en nuestro sistema educativo. La segunda parte
se dedica a analizar la oportunidad que suponen los nuevos
planes de estudio de grado para formar al profesorado
del futuro, así como los obstáculos que hay que salvar
para lograr una escuela que eduque en la igualdad de
oportunidades entre mujeres y hombres. En la última parte
de este trabajo se ofrece una breve reseña de cada uno de
los artículos que configuran la presente monografía sobre
“Género y Educación”, que permitirá a la lectora o lector
hacer una primera aproximación a su contenido.
This paper has three distinct parts. The first part takes stock of main achievements and pending issues in the fight against gender discrimination in our education system. The second part focuses on the new curricula of Degree as an opportunity to train prospective teachers and analyses the obstacles which must be overcome to create schools that educate on equal opportunities between women and men. The final part of the paper offers a summary of each of the contributions of this special issue on “Gender and Education”, which will provide the reader with a preliminary approach to its contents.
