Abstract
El presente artículo analiza la situación actual del derecho constitucional a un proceso sin
dilaciones indebidas proclamado en el art. 24.2 de la Constitución Española, considerado como
un derecho fundamental autónomo aunque instrumental de la tutela judicial efectiva, el cual, a
pesar del tiempo transcurrido desde su reconocimiento en 1978, sigue siendo objeto de
numerosos recursos de amparo, al no haberse conseguido soluciones satisfactorias para una
rápida resolución de los conflictos que se plantean ante los Tribunales de Justicia.
