Abstract
El periodo 2001-11 ha constituido para España un tiempo de significativas transformaciones demográficas y sociales en lo que a urbanismo y vivienda se refiere. En este contexto nacional, la Región de Murcia ha presentado cambios de mayor entidad y calado, si cabe, en estos aspectos. Se presenta un análisis de las transformaciones en la vivienda en la Región de Murcia y los procesos dinámicos socio-territoriales que éstos han conllevado, el contexto actual y las perspectivas y propuestas de futuro que debieran suscitarse a partir de lo acontecido.
Period 2001-11 has been to Spain a time of significant demographic and social changes in urbanism and housing. In this national context, the Region of Murcia has presented larger changes, if possible, in these aspects. An analysis is presented through the study of the evolution and influence of the System of Regional Planning in the changes in housing in the Region of Murcia, and the socio-territorial dynamic processes that have led to these, the current context and perspectives and proposals for the future which should arise from what happened.
