Abstract
El día 2 de marzo de 2023 entró en vigor la nueva Ley 4/2023, de 28 de febrero, para la igualdad real y efectiva de las personas trans y para la garantía de los derechos de las personas LGTBI. El objeto de esta ley es garantizar y promover el derecho de igualdad real y efectiva de las personas lesbianas, gais, trans, bisexuales e intersexuales (en adelante LGTBI), así como de sus familias. El título IV se encarga de establecer las infracciones y sanciones para garantizar las condiciones básicas en materia de igualdad de trato y no discriminación. Este régimen podrá ser
objeto de desarrollo y tipificación específica por la legislación de las comunidades autónomas en el ámbito de sus competencias.
On March 2, 2023, the new Law 4/2023, of February 28, came into force for the real and effective equality of trans people and for the guarantee of the rights of LGTBI people. The purpose of this law is to guarantee and promote the right to real and effective equality of lesbian, gay, trans, bisexual and intersex (hereinafter LGTBI) people, as well as their families. Title IV is responsible for establishing infractions and sanctions to guarantee basic conditions regarding equal treatment and non-discrimination. This regime may be subject to specific development and classification by the legislation of the autonomous communities within the scope of their powers.
