dc.description.abstract	La letra ṣād para al-ṣirāṭ al-mustaqīm, «la vía recta», o bien para ṣūfī y ṣafī, «puro». Alcanzar la pureza en la «morada de la desposesión» (maqām al-taǧrīd). Según el gran maestro sufí y poeta místico andalusí Muḥyī l-Dīn Ibn al-ʿArabī (m. 638/1240), el «lugar desértico» (balqaʿ) representa la «estación de la desposesión» (maqām al-taǧrīd), el lugar que hace referencia al corazón del amante (muḥibb) dispuesto al despojamiento. Para al-Šayḫ al-Akbar, el desierto, con su vastedad y aislamiento, se convirtió en un símbolo de la búsqueda interior y de la conexión con lo divino. El desierto pudo haber inspirado algunos de sus conceptos centrales, como la idea del «viaje espiritual» (sulūk) y la búsqueda metafísica de la «Unidad de la Existencia» (waḥdat al-wuǧūd). Su conexión con el desierto está estrechamente ligada a la tradición de la disciplina ascética sufí (riyāḍa), donde el aislamiento (infirād), la reflexión (fikr) y la meditación (tafakkur) son elementos importantes en el camino hacia Dios. Ṣirāṭ. Trance en el desierto (2025, dir. Oliver Laxe) es un filme con «intenciones esotéricas» que refleja la «estación de la desposesión» (maqām al-taǧrīd). Si todos debemos morir algún día y, como se menciona varias veces en al-Qurʾān, «saborear la muerte» (21:35; 29:57: «Toda alma gustará de la muerte» [Kullu nafsin ḏāʾiqatu l-mawti]) en cada momento de nuestra existencia terrenal, ¿cómo podemos imaginar otra vida después de la muerte? Tanto Ibn al-ʿArabī como Oliver Laxe contemplan el dicho del Profeta: «La muerte es el regalo (tuḥfa) del fiel» (Ibn al-ʿArabī); «un regalo, incluso con el obstáculo más atroz, es una oportunidad para crecer» (Oliver Laxe).
