Abstract
El artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación que analiza la construcción del conocimiento en educación superior a través de las prácticas en instituciones y organizaciones sociales de trabajo social en las universidades españolas. En cuanto al método, se identifican las universidades donde se imparte la titulación (37), se analizan la totalidad de las asignaturas relacionadas con las “prácticas” (85) a través de las guías docentes y, por último, se analiza el universo de las competencias específicas atribuidas a las mismas (572). Los resultados permiten categorizar 18 competencias específicas, 10 competencias transversales, 14 habilidades profesionales relevantes y 6 áreas de desempeño profesional. Los resultados del análisis de contenido, evidencian que la adquisición de capacidades, habilidades y destrezas a través de las prácticas externas permiten la comprensión de la aplicación metodológica en los diferentes niveles de intervención profesional y ámbitos profesionales. Así mismo, destacar que las prácticas en instituciones y organizaciones sociales favorecen la comprensión aplicada de principios deontológicos y estrategias de resolución de dilemas éticos. Por consiguiente, se concluye que las prácticas en instituciones y entidades sociales facilitan la adquisición de competencias y habilidades profesionales en la diversidad de los ámbitos de desarrollo.
The article presents the results of a research that analyzes the construction of knowledge in higher education through practices in institutions and social organizations of social work in Spanish universities. Regarding the method, the universities where the degree is taught (37) are identified, all the subjects related to the “practices” (85) are analyzed through the teaching guides and, finally, the universe of the specific powers attributed to them (572). The results allow categorizing 18 specific skills, 10 transversal skills, 14 relevant professional skills and 6 areas of professional performance. The results of the content analysis show that the acquisition of abilities, skills and abilities through external internships allow the understanding of the methodological application at the different levels of professional intervention and professional fields. Likewise, it should be noted that the practices in institutions and social organizations favor the applied understanding of ethical principles and strategies for resolving ethical dilemmas. Therefore, it is concluded that internships in institutions and social entities facilitate the acquisition of professional skills and abilities in the diversity of development fields.
