We analyze the measures adopted in Spain, in terms of Social Security, during the state of alarm decreed against the health crisis caused by COVID-19. Many of them, under the form of Royal Decree Law, suppose, according to their creators, completely justified alterations of the legal system, all of them of an extraordinary and temporary nature, and basically aimed at protecting health and employment in order to solve the unmet needs. And this with the hope that, in the not too distant future, preventive measures are adopted, the result of good lines of research, as a brake on new outbreaks of this disease that may arise, as a brake on new threats and health challenges.
