dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el papel del aeropuerto de Puerto Vallarta como detonante del impulso y despegue turístico de este municipio costero y su zona metropolitana. Para cumplir con el cometido el texto se divide en tres apartados. En el primero se menciona la importancia del transporte aéreo para el desarrollo del turismo. El segundo explica la historia del transporte aéreo en Puerto Vallarta. Finalmente, se ilustra y resalta el papel central de este aeropuertoes
dc.description.abstractThe present article has like objective to analyze the role of the Puerto Vallarta airport as a trigger for impulse and tourism take-off this coastal municipality and its metropolitan zone. To fulfill the task is divides into three sections. The first refers to the importance or air transport for the development of tourism. The second explains the history of air transport in Puerto Vallarta. Finally, illustrated and highlights the central role of this international airport with the tourist activity of the municipality and it´s metropolitan zone.es
