Abstract
La educación fue uno de los objetivos prioritarios del Cardenal Cisneros.
La creación de la Universidad de Alcalá, a la que dotó de una magnífica biblioteca,
es buena muestra de ello. Las Constituciones, redactadas personalmente
por él, y el primer Inventario de bienes de la Universidad, dan una idea de lo que
debió ser aquella institución modélica.
ABSTRACT: One of the most important objectives for Cardenal Cisneros was education. A good example of this was the creation of the Alcalá University, which was granted with a magnificent and distinct library. The Constitutions written by him and the first inventory of the University goods give us a slight idea of what an exemplar institution was.
