Description
Abstract
At the beginning of the second treatise of On the Genealogy of Morality, Nietzsche introduced a reflection on the relationship between humanity and promise. The possibility of a non-metaphysical philosophy was there linked to a rereading of the meaning of the promise once God has died. In this article we outline the proposal of Jacques Derrida.
