dc.description.abstract	Se habla de que la guerra justa puede ser por motivos humanitarios y para salvar vidas, para respetar las fronteras y proteger a un país o región, para autodefenderse o superar amenazas, para acabar con autocracias o, directamente, para terminar con otra guerra. Pero esta es una noción polémica, en el sentido teórico concreto, sobre la que se aducen cuestiones éticas profundamente humanistas, o que esconde motivos estéticos a modo de propaganda de intereses más funcionales. Porque cada bando, tenga o no la razón moral de su tiempo, considera legítima su lucha y busca los argumentos jurídicos para justificarla en su inicio, su desarrollo y su final, entre la ética y la estética. Por ello, en este artículo se recoge el devenir histórico de esta idea, como instrumento político, en sus principales etapas, autores y debates, desde las tres dimensiones básicas de la noción: la justificación de la lucha (ius ad bellum), el derecho en el conflicto (ius in bellum), y las normas para la paz (ius post bellum).	es
dc.description.abstract	There is talk that just war can be for humanitarian reasons and to save lives, to respect borders and protect a country or region, to defend oneself or overcome threats, to end autocracies or, directly, to end another war. But this is a controversial notion, in the specific theoretical sense, on which deeply humanist ethical questions are raised, or which hides aesthetic motives as propaganda for more functional interests. Because each side, whether or not it has the moral reason of its time, considers its fight legitimate and seeks legal arguments to justify its beginning, its development and its end, between ethics and aesthetics. Therefore, this article reflects the historical evolution of this idea, as a political instrument, in its main stages, authors and debates, from the three basic dimensions of the notion: the justification of the struggle (ius ad bellum), the law in conflict (ius in bellum), and the norms for peace (ius post bellum).
