Con esta aportación pretendemos poner de relieve la importancia que D. Claudio Sánchez-Albornoz tuvo en el desarrollo de los estudios de la Tardoantigüedad durante los años 40-70. A su vez, realizamos un pequeño recorrido por su vida y obra, así como sus principales aportaciones al debate historiográfico como genial historiador que era.
The aim of this article is to emphasize the importance of D. Claudio Sánchez-Albornoz in relation to the development of the studies about the Late Antiquity from the 40s to the 70s. We also go shortly over his life and works, together with his main contributions to the historiographical discussion as Historian.
