Abstract
Con este estudio pretendemos poner de relieve la importancia que tuvo el profesor Santo Mazzarino en el desarrollo de los estudios de la Antigüedad Tardía. Asimismo, también elaboramos una pequeña biografía centrándonos en su formación para entender los campos que estudio a lo largo de su extensa vida científi ca además de su visión sobre el fi n del mundo romano.
With this study we intend to highlight the importance that Santo Mazzarino had in the development of the studies of Late Antiquity. In the same way, we also elaborated a small biography focused on his training to understand the fi elds he studied throughout his extensive scientifi c life, as well as his vision about the end of the Roman world.
