Description
Abstract
Abstract: This paper returns to the Hegelian prediction about the death of art to try to prove, in contrast with the post-modern view, that art hasn’t died nowadays; even though, it is healthier than ever. The main reason for this argument lies on the broader conceptualization of art in contemporary society, in which both the de-aesthetization of art and the aesthetization of life have occurred. As a result, art, as the sublime object, has gone beyond the limits of thought, taking the aesthetics reflection to a sour but tasty shaking.
