Abstract
Los numerosos recursos existentes tanto en el mercado como en internet para la
enseñanza del inglés en educación infantil nos plante
a la necesidad de saber
seleccionar adecuadamente de acorde con los objetivos prioritarios de este nivel
educativo: la formación integral del alumnado en sus competencias cognitivas,
psicomotrices y afectivo
-
sociales. El objetivo de este artículo es el de
hacer una
revisión teórica de
los materiales existentes a la luz de los contenidos esenciales en el
ap
rendizaje de inglés en infantil,
las destre
zas pre
-
lectoras, y su conexión con las
melodías y el ritmo.
Se aboga por una metodología activa de enseñanza b
asada en la
distribución por rincones de trabajo y que tiene como principios generales el trabajar
con la oralidad
donde la comprensión oral tiene prioridad, el aprendizaje se produce a
partir de la acción involucrando todos los sentidos y el elemento lúdi
co ayuda a
desarrollar su capacidad de pronunciación y su auto

confianza

énfasis a las TIC

en edades tempranas y a la aportación que puede hacer la
enseñanza multimodal de una lengua extranjera a través de la selección de formatos
de i
nteracción músico

visuales especialmente diseñados para el aprendizaje de
lenguas extranjeras en educación infanti
Numerous existing resources both on the market and on the internet for the teaching of English in early childhood education urge the need to know how to properly select them as regards the priority objectives of this educational level: the holistic training of students in their cognitive, psychomotor and social skills . The aim of this article is to offer a theoretical review of existing materials in the light of the essential contents for teaching very young learners, the pre - reading skills, and their connection with melodies and rhythm. A n active teaching method is described based on the distribution of the classroom into working corners and on general principles such as the priority of listening comprehension and action - based learning . I nvolving all the senses and adding playful element s help to develop young learners’ self - confidence and their pronunciation ability. Special emphasis is given to ICT in early ages and to the contribution of multimodal teaching through the s election of music - v isual interaction formats specially designed for the learning of foreign languages in early childhood education
