Abstract
La Educación Matemática en España ha tenido en los ŭltimos años un desarrollo vertiginoso del que el
autor ha sido protagonista a través de diversos puestos de responsabilidad organizativa en el reciente movimiento asociativo de profesores de matemáticas. Trata de resumir esa historia así como, resaltar aquellos aspectos en los que dicho movimiento ha influido más en la mejora de la educación matemática en España.
During the last years the mathematical education in Spain has had a very quick development, in wich the author has contributed through many different responsibilities in the recent associative movement of teachers on this matter. He tries to resume here in this story as well as to stand out the aspeas in wich this movement has more influenced on the improvement of teaching and learning of mathematics in Spain.
