Abstract
El artículo analiza la situación de las bibliotecas en los centros públicos
de enseñanza secundaria de la ciudad de Barcelona a partir de un estudio realizado
el primer trimestre de 2001. Los datos obtenidos a partir de los distintos items del
cuestionario (colecciones, organizacion, personal, servicios...) muestran una situación
precaria, asimilable a las restantes bibliotecas escolares de España.
ANSTRACT: The article analyzes the situation of libraries in education centres in the town of Barcelona (Spain) following a study developed during the first three months of 2001. From several points in the form (collections, organization, staff, services...) the overview shows an unstable situation, which can be generalized to the rest of school libraries in Spain.
