dc.description.abstract	En su anhelo de re-construcción integral del mundo, el movimiento futurista italiano aspira a socavar los conceptos básicos de la cultura europea, a partir de las ideas tradicionales de “tiempo” y “espacio”. En una Italia provinciana, que se va paulatinamente industrializando y se ve atravesada por neonatas convulsiones políticas -mientras que se atisban las primeras manifestaciones de movimientos obreros y de posturas contestatarias, en las puertas de la Primera Guerra Mundial-, Marinetti y sus cómplices defienden una actitud belicosa, permanente y trasversal, que se ensaya de la sociedad a la cultura, de la literatura al arte, para abarcar finalmente todos los campos del conocimiento y de la acción transformadora. La “ciudad” será el trasfondo prioritario de sus reflexiones y de sus propósitos renovadores; la ciudad representada como lugar en el que se va desarrollando la vida cotidiana de sus habitantes, pero también como principal objetivo de su lucha enardecida, en donde todos los paradigmas existentes del comportamiento humano se verían trastocados y radicalmente modificados.	es
dc.description.abstract	ABSTRACT In its goal of the comprehensive re-construction of the world, the Italian futurist movement aspires to undermine the basic concepts of European culture, departing from the ideas of “space” and “time”. In provincial Italy, which is gradually becoming industrialised and going through neonatal political convulsions -while the first demonstrations of workers' movements and anti-establishment stances can be discerned, in the doorway to the First World War-, Marinetti and his accomplices defend a bellicose attitude, indelible and transverse, that tests from society to culture, from literature to art, to finally cover all fields of knowledge and transformative action. The “city” is the priority background of his reflections and renewed intentions; the city represented as the place where the everyday life of its inhabitants takes place, but also as the principal objective of his passionate battle, in where all of the existing paradigms of human behaviour are disrupted and radically modified.
