Description
Abstract
Like so many other economic activities that have occurred in the history, tourism has also left its mark in the territory. An imprint you need to know, appreciate and preserve. We would be speaking, therefore, a heritage of great importance to what has been the historical becoming an important activity in our country. However, this article is intended to deal with only one facet of that legacy, referring to the Spa heritage. For which it has decided to take as a study case, the province of Guipuzcoa, one of the territories where the nineteenth-century balneotherapy came to play a key role both the amount of its springs and the quality of its spas.
