Abstract
La puesta en cuestión de un sistema
educativo replegado sobre sí mismo ha sido un ele·
mento constante en los análisis que sobre la educación
se han realizado en los últimos veinte años.
Tales análisis han llevado parejas, a veces, ciertas
propuestas tendientes a romper con esa situación
de aislamiento, dándole al sistema educativo un
nuevo aire que lo vinculase estrechamente con las
realidades de las comunidades en las que se sitúan
los centros educativos. Así, la propuesta de hacer
de la colectividad -la ciudad, el pueblo, la polisno
sólo un r4erente, sino también un recurso educativo
ha ido adquiriendo visos muy sugestivos
para caminar en la dirección de la vinculación
estrecha de la escuela con el marco social al que
pertenece.
ABSTRACT: To avoid the school's isolation from its communal context many suggestions have been made according to both the pedagogical analisis which have been carryed out in the last twenty years and to their results. This need has been seen as something which cannot be postponed and, in this way, sorne purposes have been advanced. One of those is the project consisting of using the com· munity socially and phisically -that is the town, the polis- as an educational reference and as an educational resource, strongly linking the schools to their own environment. To apreciate the possibilities of this project is the aim of this article.
